James Medlock

James Medlock

Golden Services Oak Harbor branch is proud to announce that James Medlock has been voted by his peers as our Employee of the Quarter for the 4th quarter of 2015.  James, a Nebraska native,  is currently a Class A CDL Driver and crew leader with Golden Services and has been with us for almost a year. He began his career in the moving industry in 1992 and, with the exception of the three years he served in the Marines, has consistently worked in the moving industry for almost 19 years systematically working his way up from helper to driver.

If asked what he likes most about his job he would say that he enjoys loading line hauls in as little space as possible. He also enjoys performing moves for military families due to his own prior service in the military.  In his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking, and riding his motorcycle during summer months. However in the winter months he is more likely to be found playing video games. James’ goals for the future include moving into a management position as he feels that his invaluable experience in the moving industry gives him a greater understanding of every aspect of what needs to occur on various jobs. This along with his managerial experience provided by his years of military service make him an excellent choice as a Move Manager or Coordinator.
